This story speaks about a teacher at Oakfield Elementary School named Jodi Schmidt. One day Ms. Schmidt saw the girl that she loved seeing her smile and attitude bopped down the hallway at school. Although the eight-year-old girl Natasha Fuller have a sweet demeanor and positive outlook but her health was quickly getting worse that what Ms. Schmidt, a mom of three doesn't know.
Natasha desperately requires a new kidney because was born with prune belly syndrome which caused her a urinary tract disease. What's more is that Brookelynn, her twin sister lived with their parents in Oklahoma, while stayed in Wisconsin with Chris and Mark Burleton, her grandparents.
Natasha was at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin receiving specialized care, for two years because she was experiencing infections. When Ms. Schmidt learned of that, she had herself tested secretly to see if she was a match to the poor girl. Then Ms. Schmidt invited Natasha and Chris, her Grandma to her classroom.
