She Was Tied Up With No Food Or Water In 100 Degree Heat. 1 Week Later, They Finally Found Her
She heard a dog crying when she took her own dog out for a walk near the woods by her apartment building. This was in Oklahoma in early July when the temperatures were around 100 degrees. It took about a week to find the dog, who had been tied to a tree with no source of food or water.
The dog was taken in by Scott Doyle and named Honey Bear. Honey Bear has several health issues and appears to have given birth to a litter of puppies a few months ago. Scott set up a GoFundMe for Honey and has already gotten more than $1700 to help pay for the medical bills.
The goal for the fund was set at $1500, the extra money will be donated to local animal shelters. The latest updates on Honey Bear can be found on her Facebook or GoFundMe page. Several people have expressed interest in adopting her already!
