We all know that the bushfires in Australia have costed the homes of thousands of families over the past four months. Actually, the fires forced many families around New Year’s Day in the coastal town of Mallacoota in Victoria to evacuate their places.
Actually, the people, that were urgently evacuated, had many terrible to find shelter for their pets. But the local navy stepped up and offered the families their ship base to put the pets in it as a haven in this crisis.
A rabbit, two birds, two cats, and 135 dogs were transferred to "HMAS Choules”, the sturdy ship. Makeshift kennels were even built by the officers to let these pets have the relaxation they want. Actually, the ship becomes like a professional floating daycare facility for pets.
On the other hand, many families, that are also in the ship are waiting to be moved to safety. Thanks to the navy officers who did what they could to save these pets and people. Watch the video below to have more information.
